The Living Legend Pop Up School for Climate Education & Entrepreneurship starts with a change of mindset: You are important! Your idea and contribution to change count. This applies to you, to all youth and everyone else. Climate change affects everyone and climate solutions have the most impact if we tackle them together. And we can! For example in the Living Legends Pop Up School and Community.
Learning from & with each other
So far, no one has been able to learn enough about climate issues and change at school. And everyone from 4 to 100 years old should be able to learn about it as quickly as possible in order to make climate-conscious choices. The good news is that young and old can learn from and with each other. That is why we first build Climate Education and Entrepreneurship in the Living Legends community for all youth aged 10 to 30 years. They undertake the first examples, teach us all about it and we (30+ generations) copy it. This will accelerate the acceleration of climate improvement. And that’s a good thing, because when it comes to climate improvement: no time to lose!
Change of mindset: You matter!
If you look differently, you will also see it: we are all different as human beings and this makes sense! Each of us has our own package of talents and ideas for change and therefore our own important contribution to society. Together we have all the ideas and solutions needed to make our society and future climate proof. With no one left behind.
If you already have the opportunity as a teenager to develop and undertake your idea and contribution to society, you can even make it your job. If all youth are given this opportunity, small-scale local projects and start-ups will arise everywhere. And suggest that we actively help the youth as 30+ generations (in our spare time) with this*, the change will also start worldwide. Then the climate improvement that is so urgent will really accelerate.
You are important! also applies to the 30+ generations
It is good to realize: 90% of young people develop by copying and imitating others around them. At home, at school, in the neighbourhood, on TV, social media, everywhere. The example that we as 30+ generations give to youth in daily life has an impact and is therefore important! When it comes to climate improvement, the question is: what example do I/do we give to the youth around me/us? And the following applies: if we make our own lives and example more climate-proof, this has a direct effect on the development and behaviour of our young people and their chance of a sustainable, liveable future.

- Developing your idea by collecting knowledge, experimenting and discovering what works by doing
- Develop your entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurship so that you can develop your idea into a local project or startup
- In collaboration with like-minded people, knowledge partners and helpers in your local community.
