We work together in  the We Grow Together youth community. A beautiful mix of local youth from 20 countries, young newcomers (migrants) and young community leaders from developing countries and migrant home countries. Because we believe in the power of diversity!

ONE WORLD Citizens is not-for-profit. Everything we do in OWC serves the public interest. We do not build equity or share surplus budget with Living Legends*, who are committed to driving change and access to basic needs in their local communities.

OWC is contemporary, organized online and has no office building. The fixed costs of our organization consist of the following cost items:

• Management fee (basic income) Board Director: € 21.780,00 per year
• Fixed costs: web hosting, banking, administration and license costs: € 1.750,00 per year

To accelerate scaling up and bringing the Living Legends School online, we would like to expand the OWC management team to 4 team members. If this is successful, the total remuneration of the management will be 4 x € 21.780,00

All donations that we receive go directly to the basic incomes and low-budget costs of the Living Legends and their projects, for which the money is intended. 

We organize OWC in this low-budget way as an example organization for the countries and young people who join us.  So that they can copy our simple organizational model, we can guide them. To become a strong global cooperative as quickly as possible and to empower as many young people in as many countries as possible to create change in their local communities. Hands-on and bottom-up.

OWC has a Board Director and a Supervisory Board, all of whose members are volunteers without allowance. With bylaws that strengthen OWC's governance.

*A Living Legend is a young person who is willing to develop his idea for change into a local project or startup with the help of the community and then willing to help young people from other villages, cities, countries to copy his example project or startup in its own community. In this way, young people see themselves scaling up and implementing the change that is needed worldwide as quickly as possible.
